Here a "type" means a kind of check: 243 general test types, plus up to 365 more added automatically by site type (6 categories: e-commerce/media/business·directory/local service·booking/SaaS/streaming), for 608 in total. Each test inspects every relevant element on the page one by one — each link, image, accessibility node, and network request counts as one inspected item, so the number of items actually inspected in a single scan far exceeds the number of test types. The finished report honestly lists how many items were inspected and how many issue instances were found this time. See a real example report.
